I used gsmr.com while trying to figure out what to do on our layover, it was helpful. I didn’t have the patience to dig through a bunch of random sites, so it was nice that everything was easy to check and didn’t turn into a whole ordeal. We only had a few hours, and it helped us make the most of them without standing around wasting time

"Decent trip, but finding a restroom was a hassle"
Overall, the trip was fine, not amazing, not terrible, just kind of okay. But the restroom situation definitely stood out, and not in a great way. There were restrooms around, but when it got busy, I kept thinking, “Okay, where am I supposed to go now?” They weren’t always easy to get to, and once I did find one, there was a bit of a wait. It also felt cramped, which made it less comfortable than I was hoping for. Not a total deal breaker, but yeah, it definitely took away from the day a little. I’d give it 3 stars.

The staff I spoke with were friendly and answered my questions without being rude or making me feel rushed. It did take longer than I expected to get help, which was a bit annoying, but maybe it’s just me being impatient. Overall, they were polite enough, just not the quickest. Average experience

"Fair price and got the job done"
I ended up using gsmr.com after looking around at a few other options, the price seemed fair to me. I wasn’t expecting anything amazing or super fancy, just needed it to work without costing a bunch, and that’s basically what happened. It did what I needed, no weird surprises, which is always nice. "Worth the Stop"
I’m glad we decided to eat here because the food was actually really tasty, and the drinks came out fast, which made everything feel so much smoother. i wasn’t trying to make the trip all about food, but a good meal and quick service definitely made the whole outing way nicer.

"Pretty Easy Visit Overall"
I stopped in not really expecting much, just hoping it wouldn’t be one of those places where you instantly regret sitting down. The visit ended up being really comfortable, though. I grabbed my seat, got settled, and after a few minutes realized I wasn’t noticing any of the usual annoying stuff like sticky floors, weird smells, or messy bathrooms. Everything looked genuinely well taken care of, from the seats to the floors to the restroom. It made the whole experience a lot nicer. Definitely 5 stars from me...

"Nice depot, just caught it at a busy time"
We had a really good time here overall. The depot was clean, easy to figure out, and had bathrooms, snacks, and a few little shops to check out while we waited. It did feel a bit crowded, but I think that was just our bad timing with when we showed up. The staff were helpful and pointed us in the right direction without making anything confusing. Relaxed start to the train ride, and I’d definitely come back.

"Finally, a place that didn’t make bringing our dog a whole thing"
We brought our dog with us and the staff were really relaxed about it, which was such a relief. Some places act like you’re causing a problem just by showing up with a pet, but here it was easy and totally drama-free. Nice little trip overall, no confusion or weird hassle. I’d definitely go again.

"Fun ride, just way too packed"
The ride itself was actually nice and the views were great, but there were so many people getting on at the same time that it felt crowded almost the whole way, so instead of being relaxing like I hoped it would be, I spent most of the trip just wishing there was a little more space and better spacing between groups.

"Really fun day with the kids"
We took the kids on a trip through gsmr.com, i wasn’t totally sure at first if it would be worth it or if they’d get bored halfway through. But booking was simple, and once we got there, they were excited pretty much the whole time.

The staff were friendly, everything felt safe, and somehow nobody complained about being bored, which is not usually how our family outings go. I kept wondering if I was just in a good mood, but no, it really was a great family day out and we’d definitely do it again

"5 stars for Great Smoky Mountain Railroad..."
5 stars for Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. The parking was easy and close by, which makes a big difference when you’ve got kids and bags with you. Nobody wants to start a trip by driving in circles looking for a spot, so it was nice to just park and get going. Simple common-sense thing, but it really helped the day start off right.

"Fun ride, just longer than I expected"
I had a good time on the ride and it was definitely enjoyable, but it felt a bit longer than I would’ve liked. Compared to other rides I’ve been on, this one dragged on a little near the end
